Jodi Jackson

Lead Coordinator, Fitness & Special Events

Jodi is originally from Grandview, Texas. She graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Master’s degree in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education. Campus Recreation made a huge impact on Jodi’s life; it's where she got her start as an intramural participant and official her freshman year of college. Jodi later taught fitness classes at Angelo State University including Boot Camp, Cycling, Step Aerobics, Yoga, and several more. While at Angelo State, Jodi met her husband, Reid Jackson, playing intramural flag football. As an intramural team in college, she and Reid loved to travel and play extramural tournaments throughout the US - they even won 5 National Flag Football Championships together! Both started their careers as Graduate Assistants for Campus Recreation and continue to enjoy working together as professionals.

Jodi has two boys, Finn and Jett, who are the biggest Baylor University fans. In her spare time, Jodi enjoys spending time with family, playing music and singing, having come from a musical family (Jodi can play multiple instruments including guitar, violin, and piano). She is currently on the worship team at Harris Creek Baptist Church and loves to serve others in that way. Jodi enjoys sharing her passion for fitness with students and looks forward to serving the Baylor community while growing professionally in the field of Campus Recreation.
