Fitness Center
The SLC is home to the 10,000 sq. ft. Fitness Center available to all Baylor students, faculty, and staff. Whether you are simply returning to exercise or already have an established workout routine, the Fitness Center has three levels - Cardio, Machine Weight, and Free Weight - each providing equipment to suit your fitness goals and needs.
Fitness Center Staff Attendants are available to assist you and ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment.
Located on the first level, this area contains much of our cardio equipment including recumbent and upright bikes, treadmills, rowing machine, ellipticals, Stairmasters and core stability machinery. A separate, padded stretching area is also available, complete with yoga pads, bands, weighted bars and abdominal exercise wheels.
Machines on this level are organized by muscle group, training functionality and core stability.
Located on the third level, this area boasts most of our free weight equipment, including squat racks, press and pull equipment, dumbbells, kettlebells, and Olympic lifting platforms.
