Rentals & Equipment

Lockers in the Student Life Center include both full and half-size lockers that may be rented by the semester for the entire year.

  • $150 for one year (3 semesters)
  • $100 for two semesters
  • $50 for one semester
• Half Size
  • $75 for one year (3 semesters)
  • $50 for two semesters
  • $25 for one semester

Note: Lockers that have not been renewed by their expiration date will be cleared and made available for a new user. The contents of expired lockers will be held at the SLC for no more than four (4) weeks before being donated to local charity.

Towels are required for all patrons working out in the Fitness Center. You may purchase either a Full or Workout Towel Service that allows you to present your Towel Card at the Service desk each visit for a fresh towel. Towel Services expire on August graduation date.

• Full Towel Service: This towel service provides one large bath towel and one workout towel on each visit and expires each August.
  • Purchased in Fall: $60
  • Purchased in Spring: $40
  • Purchased in Summer: $20
• Workout Towel Service: This towel service provides one small workout towel on each visit.
  • $5 per semester
• Workout Towel: Patrons who do not wish to have the service may opt to purchase and keep a green workout towel for $3 per towel.

Campus Recreation rents a variety of sports equipment to Baylor student organizations and departments for use at their on-campus events. If your group is planning an event and in need of equipment please check-out the information below. Equipment may be rented for up to 3 consecutive days.

Reserve

• Submit the Sports Equipment Rental Request form at least 3 business days prior to your event.
• Campus Recreation Staff will contact you regarding equipment availability, rental fees, and a pick-up time.

Pick-up & Payment

• Come to the SLC Service Desk and let the staff know that you have reserved equipment.
• Pay the Equipment Rental fee at the SLC Service Desk.
• Pick-up equipment and sign rental agreement.

Return

• Return all equipment to the SLC Service Desk. Allow time for staff to inventory and check the condition of the equipment.
• If any equipment is damaged or missing, please be prepared to pay the replacement fee for the equipment.

Additional fees

• Late Rental Request Fee: $25
• Late Equipment Return Fee: $5/day
• Missing/Damaged Equipment: replacement fee for equipment

The Outdoor Adventure Program offers Baylor students, faculty and staff the opportunity to rent outdoor gear at a fraction of the cost to purchase. Located in the SLC Gym behind court 3, the Gear Room hours are set at the start of each semester.

Gear Room will CLOSE for the summer on Wednesday, May 7.

Rental Requests

• Rentals are first come, first serve.
• Individuals may only rent (and therefore are liable for) equipment they will use personally. If traveling with a group, each person must request and rent their own equipment.
• For groups of 10+ renting gear, please contact Outdoor Adventure to inquire about equipment availability.
• It is recommended to call ahead to confirm availability.

Returning Equipment

• Clean equipment, allow time to dry and inspect for damages. Refer to our Rental Gear Care & Maintenance Guide for specific cleaning instructions.
• Return the clean and dry equipment to the OA Gear Room at least 30 minutes prior to our posted closing time

*MSR & Coleman Fuel available for $8/canister (while supplies last)
