Baylor REC Camp is a week-long, recreation-based summer experience designed for Baylor Faculty and Staff children entering 1st–5th grade. Offered across eight sessions throughout the summer, camp takes place on the Baylor University campus.
Campers enjoy a wide variety of sports, indoor and outdoor recreation, select water activities, and specialty interest programs. Throughout each week, we intentionally emphasize faith and character development as we seek to glorify God and encourage campers to love and serve those around them.
Baylor Affiliates (current Baylor faculty, staff, students, retirees, Regents):
Registration opens for all sessions on March 17, 2026, at 12:01pm.
Baylor Grizzlies Camp is a week-long, recreation-based summer program designed for Baylor Faculty and Staff children entering 6th–8th grade. The camp is offered in eight sessions throughout the summer and takes place on the Baylor University campus.
While REC Camp focuses on experiential learning, Grizzlies Camp emphasizes developmental growth through structured, age-appropriate activities. Each day includes dedicated class periods in specific sports, outdoor adventure, and team-building experiences, with skills and challenges that intentionally progress throughout the week. Campers work toward a culminating game, task, or objective connected to that session’s specialty theme.

Due to growing demand and space limitations, Youth Camps are implementing a new tiered registration system. This allows for the prioritization of Baylor faculty, staff, students, retirees, and regent dependents.
